After working in Bollywood, Tricha earned her MFA from the USC Peter Stark Producing Program. She interned with Shondaland and UTA before joining CAA’s Production Department supporting 300+ commercials and music videos. She has received sponsorship from The Hollywood Foreign Press Association for her work as an emerging filmmaker.

Tricha leads efficient, budget-conscious sets that leave room for magic. She is expanding into feature films that reveal untold perspectives of the stories we think we already know.

Armed with 20 years of professional experience, Tricha is a globally trained dancer in 9 forms of dance.

In 2017, she made history as the Bollywood Film Industry's first and only Bhangra choreographer. She launched groundbreaking training programs through partnerships with high-profile talent like Madhuri Dixit and Shakti Mohan.

She is a founding member of the Choreographer’s Guild. Her US choreography includes an Oscar-qualifying short film.

Culture is a powerful vehicle for change. Tricha leads and supports initiatives that champion people of colour, women, and marginalized talent.

In response to stereotyped images in meme search engines, Tricha pioneered TrichGIFs, the first ever culturally accurate Indian GIFs, amassing 350M+ views and sparking a wave of South Asian representation online.

In 2020 she founded the TKP Creative Mentorship Program, now on its 5th cohort.

She supports the Choreographer’s Guild in developing copyright protections, labor standards, and economic security for choreographers in the film, TV, and media industries.
